Have I told you how much of a little gamer my son is? Like, literally. If I allowed him, he would stay on the game all…day…long. Somehow, even with no games that I brought, he still got his fix while we visited Florida. If you’ve read some of my previous post, then you know that we were in Orlando for Spring Break. Seeing as though we were in Florida, it only made sense that we visited the beach. I asked around and the grape-vine noted that the best beach was Clearwater, so, the last day of our trip we headed that way. If you are unfamiliar with Clearwater, it’s in close proximity to Tampa, so before we actually spent the rest of our day being beach bums, we stopped by GameTime for lunch and to let our competitive spirits run wild. GameTime has several locations in Florida and I must say, compared to other eat and play places, this place takes the cake!
I was provided game time, food and beverages to facilitate a review. As always, my opinions are my own.
In regards to other eat and play establishments, you’re probably use to getting coins or points on a card to play. We all know this last about 5 seconds, right?! I loved how they do it at GameTime, instead of getting points or tokens, you get TIME, we each received an 1 hour, and it made our time there so much better.
Let me not fail to remind you that we went during lunch time, so crowds weren’t an issue. Now there were some games that we couldn’t play with the timed cars, but that was fine as we were having a blast!
Prior to playing we ate some great pepperoni pizza, as well as a BBQ chicken pizza (it was delish!). The have a great deal for families, which works well for a family of 4. A family of 4 can get a large pizza, 4 drinks, and an hour of game time a piece for $40! That is a steal of a deal and a great way to spend a Friday night! If you were going to purchase an hour of game time alone it would be $16 alone!
They also have several big screens, so if catching the game is your thing then this is the place! Seriously guys, stop by GameTime if you are in Florida or the next time you visit! You’ll have a blast! I wish the had a location in Atlanta area, we would be there in a heartbeat!
